Built in 1871, The South Bay church has been a place for the annual “Mariners Service”, a service that recognizes those who worked and died upon the waters of Prince Edward County. Those that were recovered from their tragedies upon the water, were buried in the nearby cemetery.

Also called Prince Edward Point Lighthouse, it lies on the most southeastern tip of Prince Edward County. It was automated in 1941 and recognized as a Heritage Structure in 2015.</title>
